Tell us about your role as Portfolio Manager
As a Portfolio Manager at PortfolioMetrix, I sit at the crossroads of investment strategy, governance and client outcomes. I help financial advisors across the entire investment life cycle for their clients, from initial design through to ongoing management. I aim to bring discipline and precision to the process, ensuring that every decision contributes to delivering reliable and resilient performance.
This requires being able to help clients get ahead of business practice and regulatory trends, which is benefited by having operations in UK, IE, and SA while also keeping a sharp eye on investment market dynamics to translate complex trends into clear positioning. My aim is to focus on how our portfolios support the real-world goals of those who trust us with their wealth.

How do you like to spend your time when you’re not at work?
Two of my many passions are people and food, and my partner and I use every opportunity I can to spend time with loved ones and cook up a storm, sometimes being fortunate enough to use the food I have grown myself. The more you practice, the luckier you get, and this applies to my cooking, golf and drumming skills.
Outside of this, I always enjoy new challenges, while balancing this with relaxing time in the African bush and learning – slowly but consistently – about African history and culture. Wildlife and a great campfire and one of life's pleasures and a great way to remember our human aspects.
What do you like the most about PortfolioMetrix?
It is all about having an impact on everyday people’s lives, and how every person takes this responsibility and privilege seriously, while having fun.
