My role at PMX is to connect forward-thinking advice firms with solutions that help them grow and scale their businesses.
What attracted you to PMX?
I’ve long admired the people at PMX and their laser-focused approach to solving problems for advisers. This really resonated with me because when advice businesses improve, clients benefit the most. Also, my own personal experience of money growing up taught me that great financial advice really matters. This opportunity to help advisers spend more time having meaningful conversations with their clients made joining PMX an easy decision.
What keeps you motivated?
It may sound cliché, but work that has a positive impact motivates me. Having a purpose bigger than yourself gives life real meaning, and helping others flourish is important to me. On a more practical level, I love learning and this industry is constantly evolving so there is enough pressure in our system to force you to grow as a professional.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love spending time outdoors with my family. Nothing beats a good day at the beach. My wife and I also love adventure and great food, so we enjoy exploring new places, tastes and flavours together.
You’ll also often find me with my nose in a philosophy, theology or history book. My undergraduate studies in Philosophy, Politics and Economics sparked a lifelong love of big ideas, and it’s a bucket-list goal of mine to read as many of the great books of civilization as I can in my lifetime. These works have shaped how humanity thinks about virtue, faith, power, meaning, society, and it's fun to trace how these ideas have built on one another across generations.
Finally, playing Xbox with my kids is always good downtime.
